SmartLIFE Homes will showcase of the very latest in UK building design, construction, materials and components.

An extraordinary community of four full-scale, and fully fitted out demonstration buildings, the homes will bring to life cutting-edge thinking in innovative and sustainable construction.

The homes at The Hive will demonstrate the different eco-standards available for both affordable and off-the-peg new homes – as well as the products and services for existing homes which can improve their energy efficiency and environmental performance. These homes will be provided by developers and construction companies. They will be relevant to Cambridgeshire’s housing development needs and the training provided by SmartLIFE to the construction industry in the county.
